This was our second time staying in this rental and every time we have been very happy with it. The location is just minutes from Wisp and the hot tub is perfect for apres ski relaxing! Would recommend for a larger group!

“The Great Escape” was perfect for our extended family celebration. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house was very clean. The house is spacious and has room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. There is so much fun to be had without ever leaving the house. However, it is only a short drive to Oakland and other points of interest. We needed a couple of more nights to experience all that “The Great Escape” has to offer.

This is my second stay at The Great Escape and it was just as great as the first time. The house is amazing and comfortable and the amenities are outstanding. I highly recommend staying at this house for your next get-a-way. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was clean and as advertised. This is a nice house with a nice backyard to relax in and is in a peaceful setting

The house was fantastic! Super clean, very comfortable for a large group, had really nice amenities on both floors of the house, and the yard area provided for a nice space to play some hoops, play Cornhole, etc. The proximity to Mountain State was really nice also.

We recommend this house, its beautiful, comfortable. A very friendly neighborhood, it’s a good place to escape the stress. The most grateful thing about the house was the 8 pool table. This gave me a shot with my family to be with nature. I hope we will come back soon.

The house was very lovely and had lots to offer our whole group. The location was great. Everything was clean and very well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay and very spacious. The house, especially the kitchen is fully loaded with everything that you need. The only thing missing was that there was no soap in the bathrooms. Very close to Wisp Resort.

Awesome place!!! Incredibly clean and the perfect layout, we could fit our whole group at the dinner table! We had 3 families; each family had their own bedroom and bathroom and all of the kids hung out in the awesome downstairs!! Very close to wisp mountain and made for a great ski get-away!!

The house was very spacious and super easy to find. We loved it and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The Great Escape is truly that. It’s convenient to everything, but you feel secluded. We had kids from ages 1 to 6 and all had a blast. There was plenty of room to run, jump, slide (we brought a slip and slide) and just hang out. The smore’s on the fire pit were a perfect end to the evening. The kitchen is well apportioned with plenty of cookware and serving dishes . The bunk bed room is downstairs, which is great for containing noise – but kind of far at night. We had a baby monitor, which worked out perfectly. We definitely plan to stay here again on our future trips to Deep Creek.

This house was amazing! The house was incredibly clean and came stocked with everything you could ever need/want! We are planning to return next year as the location & price were great and it’s near everything.

The house is spacious and clean. The amenities cover everything from kitchen appliances to kid movies to the pool table for older kids and adults, and a fire pit for clear nights. The location is private and quiet. Our families loved staying at this house and would recommend for a large family or multiple families travelling together.

The home is beautiful and equipped with entertainment. My friends and I definitely enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. There’s a nice Brewery right by the house. 10/10 would recommend this place and come again.

We had a great time staying at this location – the house was huge and had a hot tub, pool table and great kitchen and living areas! It was also in a great location, we were so close to everything!

A beautiful and comfortable home with many amenities. This was our first trip to Deep Creek Maryland and my family thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The house had lots of space for 10 adults. With a basketball court, pool and ping pong table, as well as a hot tub, we had a lot of activities to keep us busy. Hope to return next year.

This home is very beautiful and comfy the privacy is something we loved we felt so safe and at home I would highly recommend and we will be staying again .

The house was great. A lot larger than it seems. Kitchen was well equipped for us to make meals and move around comfortably. The basement was wonderful! Plenty of space for games, and taking advantage of the pool and foosball table (there is a ping pong table covering for the pool table). It was wonderful that linens were included and laid out on each bed. There were starter toilet papers but we got an extra four pack which came in handy. The garage is locked so you won’t have any access, not sure if I missed that in the description…but I was looking forward to the additional parking. Overall the home was beyond what I was expecting, and if we ever need the space again, I definitely hope this one is available.

This house is beautiful – and much bigger than we expected. Everything was clean, kitchen very well stocked with dishes and cookware. Kids had a blast in the hot tub and playing pool & foosball. Only a 5 minute drive to Wisp. Definitely reccomend!

The house is beautiful and in a perfect location! The hot tub after skiing was a huge plus. Don’t forget your toiletries.

I highly recommend this place. Wonderful house: very clean and beautifully decorated. It has all the amenities you need and some more. Very close to Wisp Sky Resort : 3min drive.
