We are so lucky to be able to offer you a home on top of WISP Mountain in the exclusive gated community known as North Camp at WISP Mountain. There is not a single item that is less than 'perfect' in this home and it has been lovingly decorated to give amazing comforts and an awesome night's sleep.
The kitchen is wonderfully appointed to where Bobby Flay would be happy to work in it! The Living Room has a ton of windows to bring the forest into the home. Relax on the back deck nicely furnished for a relaxing evening or the enclosed three season porch when the weather is not cooperating.
Rainy days are no problem with the amazing game room on the lower level. Find a slate pool table, shuffleboard, and foosball just waiting for you. Comfortable seating surrounds the lower-level gas fireplace and the TV for evening entertainment. Moving on with the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms sharing a Jack & Jill bathroom. Each bedroom offers a TV and a pyramid bunk with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top. With an extra half bath on this floor for convenience.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms with 2 Kings and 1 Queen. Of course, each bedroom provides its own TV and there is a full bathroom upstairs as well. On the main floor is the owner's suite with a King bed and its own bathroom. Again, quality at every turn to provide for maximum guest experience!
Outside you will find a fire-pit with seating and the nearby WISP ski resort offers endless fun, skiing, mountain coaster, ropes courses, disc golf, outdoor concerts in the summer, and other enjoyable activities, with the lake minutes away for a good time all year round! The surrounding area offers many State and National parks for hours of enjoyment either hiking, fishing, boating, skiing (downhill and cross-country) or biking. There are multiple golf courses within minutes of the house and more within 20 miles of the home if you do not mind a little drive through the countryside.
There are many organized events throughout the year such as July 4th celebration with fireworks over the lake, Garrett County Fair, Outdoor concerts on the mountain, Oktoberfest with many local breweries taking place, Autumn Glory festival with the beauty of fall and so much more. Garrett County is celebrated as one of the top 5 places for viewing the fall foliage. We look forward to helping your family create memories at Tucked Away!

Great home! Great location! We came for my husbands 50th birthday to golf. Close to course and the course was beautiful. We would love to return.

Read all instructions from the email and always look for more instructions around the house. They are useful! We used the gps and the instructions from the email. My gps found the house great, my siblings couldn’t find it as well through gps.
The house itself is amazing, it has MANY things to do inside that the kids enjoyed. Its at the top of the mountains where the animals hide. The older kids were able to capture beautiful pictures of momma bear with cubs, frogs, deers and big cats.
So keep your pet close. Your pets will enjoy this house as well. Our dogs enjoyed running around under our supervision.
Everything was clean, the hot water is very nice, the kitchen has everything and you need to cook. The wifi is very fast and hold many tv, phones and laptops. The sauna does work!
Lastly the most amazing part of it all, the beds. If you stay here you will sleep so comfortable. We are usually picky on beds but these exceeded our expectations.
Overall it was a great stay.

Had a great stay over Easter weekend. The house was as nice as described. Very nicely appointed, well stocked and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the towels and linens and kitchen equipment being available and the kids made good use of the games.

Home is as advertised, if not better. Backs to woods, with a nice fire pit and great game room in the basement. Very pleased with our stay.

Tucked away was a wonderful location for all kinds of activities! The house is set up so you never have to leave if you don’t want to. BUT, McHenry offers all sorts of activities for you and your group.

An awesome place. Great location, well equipped, a perfect stay for a group of 12. Lots of things to entertain with. Really enjoyed playing shuffleboard, pool, and table soccer.

Beautiful home in a great location for a family gateway! Perfect stay for our family of 8 adults, 2 toddlers and two infants (10month & 5month old). Had plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit out back was great for s’mores making. The sauna was a nice added surprise. The only thing was no high chair, crib and pack and play available. But my daughters brought a pack and play so it worked out. Tina and Robert were very responsive when I reached out to ask questions and got back to me right away. Overall it was a great stay in a great location!

My family had a great time at Tucked Away. The house is beautiful, very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and we were easily able to make our holiday dinner. We especially loved playing shuffleboard, and even got to enjoy the fire pit. Great place to get together with the family, and we will be sure to come again.
