Tomanetti’s Pizzeria
One of our favorite restaurants to visit, Tomanetti’s Pizzeria continues, every time, to give us an amazing dining experience! The Restauranteur, Autumn Newcomb, has take this restaurant to great heights with her years of experience in the culinary field.
My first meal here was a Stromboli with a Real Estate customer of ours. What an amazing dish – all of the ingredients were so fresh and the size was out of this world. Provided dinner for me the next night. Tina & I prefer the white cheese pizza with extra garlic and we select our vino from their large selection. Tony (our son) is a huge fan of the thin crust mushroom and sausage pizza. His “secret” is to also get their white sauce.
Pastas & Salads
Because of the Butternut Ravioli they served (I went out on a limb to try this as I had never had ‘Butternut’), I am now an avid Butternut Squash fan! You won’t find Iceberg in their salads and the wine selection is quite nice! Simply visit the racks on the walls, pick your bottle, and they will cork it for you to enjoy! A nice selection of IPA’s when that is calling you as well!
Service & Setting
Without a doubt the service and setting is ideal – with a nice mixture of locals (us) and vacationers. There are 2 separate indoor seating areas (I like the stools – leave the corner table for me please…) and an enclosed outdoor patio. Walk downtown when finished and grab a drink at The Vagabond Taproom to finish your evening. A well-spent 2-3 hours! As always in Garrett County, casual dress is always welcome!
